Former U.S. president Bill Clinton to speak in Toronto

bill-clintonFormer U.S. president Bill Clinton will speak in Toronto on Saturday, August 29 at 4 pm, during the annual Canadian National Exhibition.

Clinton will address the masses at BMO Field, which has a seating capacity of more than 20,000, on the topic “Embracing our Common Humanity.”

Tickets, which range in price from $20-50 (including admission to the fair), are available from Ticketmaster online or by phone at (416) 870-8000.

Founded in 1879, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is Canada’s largest fair and the fourth largest in North America. The 2009 CNE runs from August 21 to September 7 and offers more than 100 events and attractions, from international soccer matches to concerts to acrobatics shows. More than one million people typically attend the CNE every year.
