Coming to Vancouver this month?

With thousands of visitors traveling to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics, the government of British Columbia is hoping to use the Games to attract new residents and investors to the province.

During the Olympics, the province’s 2010 Business Visitors Program is hosting daily information sessions about investing, living and working, and studying in B.C.

These hour-long seminars are all free and open to the public.

Here’s the schedule:

Feb 12 – 28, daily

Investing in British Columbia 9-10 am

Living and Working in British Columbia 10-11 am

Studying in British Columbia 11 am–noon

All seminars will be held at the Asia Pacific Business Centre at Robson Square. You can get more details from the 2010 Business Visitors Program.

The government’s WelcomeBC site is another good source of information about living, working, or going to school in British Columbia.

And if you’re considering starting or investing in a B.C.-based business, check out Invest British Columbia. Also check out our earlier post: How to meet Canadian entrepreneurs.

See you in Vancouver!
