Update: Dialing während der Fahrt in Kanada

Both provinces enacted new laws — effective January 1, 2010 — that sharply restrict drivers’ use of cell phones and other electronic communications devices.

- Drivers cannot send or read text messages or e-mails.
- Fahrer mit “Learner” und “Novice” licenses are not permitted to operate jeder hand-held oder hands-free cell phone or other electronic communications device.
Diese Vancouver Sun Artikel gives all the details about B.C.’s new restrictions on cell phones and other hand-held devices, wie iPods and other MP3 players, während die Winnipeg Free Press Rückblicke der Saskatchewan Recht.
