ザ University of Regina in Saskatchewan is offering prospective students a unique guarantee:
If you don’t find a “career-oriented job” within six months of graduation, the school will give you a scholarship to cover another year of university — tuition-free.
CBCãŒå ±å‘Šã•ã‚Œã‚‹ã‚ˆã†ã«:
Currently the university boasts a highly successful post-graduation employment rate through a co-op program that matches students with potential employers.
University president Vianne Timmons says the new guarantee should build on that success.
“Right now 97 per cent of our [co-op] students get employed in a career of their choice within six months,” Timmons said during a media conference Wednesday. “We want to push that to 100 パーセント, and so we’re very confident we can guarantee this for our students.”
In addition to the co-op program, a number of other U of R degree programs — from journalism, to police studies, to social work — include a 実務経験 コンãƒãƒ¼ãƒãƒ³ãƒˆ.
