The 지구 & 메일 최근 프로 파일링 미국 태생의 기업가 제니퍼 McNeill, vice-president and chief executive officer of Calgary-based CipherSoft 주식회사.

이 인터뷰에서, McNeill, a “cross-border entrepreneur” who has lived and worked in both the U.S. 캐나다, commented on some of the differences between American and Canadian business culture.

그녀가 말했다, “Canadian organizations sometimes hold themselves back because they lack the confidence of American companies.”

If I am working with a U.S. business person who is talking about their company, 하늘은 한계입니다 그들에 대한. They are going to do whatever it takes to get wherever they need to go.

The hunger is not there – which is not necessarily a bad thing because the quality of life in Canada is much better. But when it comes to the business world, in small to medium-sized businesses especially, they limit themselves on what they can do.

McNeill은 알라바마에서 태어나 자랐어요, 세에 30, she relocated to Calgary to work for a high-tech company, 암호화 시스템. She eventually rose to become Cipher Systems’ 대표 이사, before selling the company. She subsequently co-founded CipherSoft in 2002.

With dual U.S.-Canadian citizenship, she now splits her time between Calgary and Las Vegas.
