Ang Canada-US Frito-Lay chips alamat bag
Ay Canadians higit nababahala tungkol sa kapaligiran kaysa sa kanilang mga kapitbahay timog ng hangganan?
Here’s the story:
Miryenda pagkain higanteng Frito-Lay nagpasimula ng isang bagong compostable chip bag sa parehong Canada at ang U.S. made from plant-based materials that decompose quickly.
The problem? Ang mga bag ay talagang maingay.
So according to this Vancouver Sun artikulo, “Chips bag masyadong maingay para sa US, but a hit in Canada,” the company received so many complaints from American customers that sila tumigil sa paggamit ng bagong bag sa Estados Unidos.
Sa Canada, kahit na, Frito-Lay is promoting the bags’ eco-friendliness, and apparently their strategy is working.
“Just put them in a bowl,†suggests Bonnie Bowers Wilson of Campbellford, Mayroon. in a recent Toronto Star artikulo:
“I live in a noisy household. I have the television on, a noisy Jack Russell and three cats. I don’t understand the concern about the noise.â€
Siya tingin Canadians are more willing to make changes for the environment than Americans.
The company has even created a YouTube video for the Canadian market, as well as a Canadian Facebook pahina, touting the bags’ environmental goodness.
Sa aking karanasan, Canadians do pride themselves on their environmental awareness, at many Canadian cities are frequently lauded for their green policies (makita “Saan ang tuktok ng mundo Eco-lungsod?“).
Ano ang tungkol sa iyo? Do you think the compostable chips bags are too noisy? Or is it worth it for the environment? Leave a comment and let us know.
And a note to our readers from the U.K.: we’re talking about chips — a.k.a. crisps — not the fried potatoes you eat with fish!

I personally think we use way to many packages!
I wouldn’t care about how noisy a bout is. Does that make me a true Canadian?
@ Zhu, I think it does!
